[2026. 09. 01.] NEW DESIGN, SAME OLD BULLSHIT
Welcome.
I’m [redbird6], and this is my official blog, which I’ve been mulling over and preparing for about a year and a half (whenever I got around to it). To be honest, I could have done this much sooner, but my usual laziness got the better of me. The main reason I put it off until now was a combination of my previous domain host’s incompetence and my own impatience. I’ll go into detail about this in a separate post, but I’ll warn you now—it’s not exactly a shining story.
All that aside, I’ve finally breathed new life into this masterpiece I call a website. Yes, this is the public launch. Yes, there might be certain things that won’t work quite right at first (at heart, I’m an AAA game publisher). And yes, I’m actually going to start writing posts here now. It’s taken a good few fucking years, but I’ve finally made it to this point.
I’m going to blog here about a bunch of stuff: videos, their status, general status updates (whether about the channel or just what the hell’s going on—so I don’t have to make separate videos for that), random stories, rants about life, and whatever else comes to mind. Now that the site is (more) functional, I can do whatever I want.
Next to the contacts, you'll find the "goodstuff," which are little extras:
- Mixes (i.e., SoundCloud and/or MP3 playlists)
- The archive (easy-to-access links and explanations for the stuff I've archived)
- Russian Roulette minigame
- Thrillseekers (a comic you can read here—the first chapter is coming soon)
- The bush of wisdom (without the wisdom part)
- If I come up with any more ideas, I'll post them there. I'm going to be experimenting in this area, so it'll be worth following both the site and me on Neocities anyway.
Now here comes a paragraph for only english speaking people: the "goodstuff" is, for now, only available in hungarian. Something, that's going to change once I truly get in the mojo of actually updating this site regularly. Hopefully.
And now for the question: what will happen to the site after next August, once the video series is over? The answer is simple: I’ll keep doing this until I get tired of it. The name [redbird6] will most likely live on, primarily on this site. The role of “[redbird6]” on the channel will be more substantial than it will be on the blog. Most notably, in the upcoming installments of the “Lost Media Files,” where I’ll be weaving in some slightly more fictional elements. I’ll have to build up to a grand finale somehow. If anyone happens to miss me online (which is somehow statistically possible), they can find me on this site.
